Sewing Room Makeover

I love my blue sewing room but it needed a makeover! It might not look much different from before, but there's a new sewing machine cover (the blob on the Expedit), a serger cover (the other blob on the Expedit) and mannequin cover (party chopped off on the left). I had stash fabric that I was saving for something special. I still have some fabric left over for a few small organizational items.

Although hot pink is my favorite color, this combination of baby pink, baby blue, and brown comes in a close second.

Today I took a serger class at The Sewing Studio. It taught me a few tips about finishing ends, how to figure out the different threads, serging corners...etc. It inspired my motivation to do some serging. I finished a dress and fixed a skirt. I'll post them later.

Hey, I really like your table. Did you make that yourself? as in just got a set of drawers and then put a table to? Cause I like the length of it.

I dream to have a craft room all to myself like this! I love the glass block windows and all the storage space is amazing. The wall color is gorgeous, too. You are a lucky gal. I just discovered your blog and all of your sewing and knitting projects are amazing. Thank you for sharing!
