The big L.... for laziness

The only explanation for the lack of posts is my sheer laziness. My bad!!! All the effort of waiting for a sunny day, setting up a semi-attractive backdrop, shooting the pics and downloading them, writing text... then fiddling with the blog software to upload and make things pretty... yes, I confess, I have been too lazy.

Chinese New Year has come and gone... Valentines come and gone... Even winter has come and gone... IT IS OFFICIALLY SPRING! Yay! I hope that with the arrival of spring, I can muster enough motivation to post more... (how many times have I said this now??). Well, fingers crossed that I will keep this up because the knitting continues! Slowly but here are the finished projects:

1) Green Cushion Covers
From the Rebecca Home issue, I made these for my new home, using GGH Aspen. It knit up really fast, using 7mm needles but it took a lot of coaxing to sew the zippers. These minty green cushion covers add some spring color to my place. :)
2) Cream Beret
Originally used to knit the flapper hat from Vogue Knitting Winter 2005 but the Filatura Di Crosa Super Soft yarn and the pattern didn't go too well. Instead, I liked the beret from Rowan sooooo much (the Ribbon Twist one in the previous post), I used the yarn to knit the same pattern. Very warm for winter!
3) Lotta
I picked up some Rowan Big Wool on sale at the Naked Sheep on Beaches. I love dropping by this area and visiting this yarn shop - there are so many quirky stores nearby... Whenever I come, I can't resist getting at least something! With the left over balls, I knit Lotta from Rowan's Big it Up.

And the knit adventure continues... I have a few projects with tight deadlines... I hope to be able to publish again next week!
