It's been extremely busy with the new job, new place, new friends and old friends dropping into town. I have been so bad, neglecting this blog, being behind on correspondence, and occasionally scrambling to remember friend's birthdays. :( Luckily, things are looking up and I finally have a little breather space to get back onto here and reconnect!
During this time, there have been some progress on a few projects:
Daddy's socks were completed on time - took 1 month of commute to finish the pair. I hope they will fit him! Pattern is from Paton's Classics in Kroy and yarn is Scheepjes Invicta Extra in 1361. Next on the list are mommy's socks, which I regret to report are WAAAAY behind schedule. Originally planned to finish one sock every two weeks - this is all I have done for 2 weeks of commute. I also decided to indulge myself. Found a HUGE yarn shop here in Toronto called Romni Wools. It's HUGE and I got myself some Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Superchunky to make this. I am almost embarassed to admit how much I spent on this yarn but it's soooo soft, soooo beautiful, soooo exquisite! Here is the back:
So, that's it for now... it is really hectic moving to a new place and settling in. But so far, Toronto has been wonderful. Toronto summers are beautiful and yarn shops are abundant. *smile* Hope I will have more time to update the blog!
Happy Knitting!

The cabled sweater is really beautiful! No need to be embarrassed for a little indulgence. :D
Hey there, good to hear from you again ;)
That sweater looks really beautiful, good luck!! I'm loving those cables ;)
Great socks! I really like this pair, specially the structured shape!
Oh! I guess the price of this Cashmerino is proportional to it's beautiful result.
