Connected!

Yay! I'm connected via photos. Firstly, here's the food book I bought in Japan as requested by Eva. Isn't it amazing??

That aside, I found some yarn at home! My mom bought these when they were on sale - although 100% acrylic - how could one resist at $3.50 Canadian? They are huge! I will use it for an afghan. The sugar and cream is my sister's and pictured to show you the scale. You wouldn't believe why she bought it. It's to give an old Cabbage Patch Kid a hair transplant!

Being a bit lazy, I doubled up the strands... the afghan is already 1/3 complete. Hopefully I can post it up soon!

In the meantime, my vintage projects are up in the Pre-1997 Gallery section. Enjoy!

Wow, you made lots of goodies! I love all the DKNY sweaters and I'd considered making that first AV cardi, it's really nice. Hope you're climatizing well to Vancouver. It's been raining here like crazy!

It's amazing your pre-1997 collection! Just to name a few, Pink Cables , Cream Brown and Red Anna Sui are really pretty. No wonder you saved them all. Can't believe Red Anna was your first FO!
Yes, show us the rest of your collection!
oh, the food book is so interesting...
Can you give me the ISBN #, I'll see if I can order one for myself.
Are the instructions easy to follow?
