Here's the first set of gifts... originally, I planned to make these shawls for two friends who are getting married next month. However, I decided to make something more appropriate for the brides and felt that moms would appreciate lace shawls more.
To be fair, both shawls are from the same pattern - Flower Basket Shawl. I've made 2 previously and love the pattern.
This one is for the dude's mom, made with 2 strands of Knitpicks Shadow in Vineyard Heather.
This one is for my mom, knit in 2 strands of Elann Peruvian Baby Lace Merino. This yarn is thinner, and as a result, a bit more lacy.
These will be Christmas gifts!
