I am visiting family, including 2 nieces. I whipped up 2 quick gifts for them, using some cotton worsted yarn (Bernat Handicrafter and Mission Falls cotton), fabric and this pattern.
The pattern was quite fun and easy. However, I was not very fond of sewing the fabric to the knitted bodice. Luckily, kids dresses are small and sewing was limited!
The pattern is great in that the straps can adjust the dress length, allowing the little girl to wear it over a few seasons.

Super cute! What a great gift and so practical since they can wear it for a few seasons - good idea! Now, make them send you pictures of the girls in the dresses:)
