Orphan Socks

And two of them!

The one on top is Lace Panel Socks in Sheepjes Sock Yarn on 2.25 metal needles. This thing took me over a year to finish. And it's only one!!

The one on the bottom is BFF Socks in Koigu Painters Palette on US2 Clover bamboo needles. I love it, I love it, I love it.

I think I found an error in the BFF Socks for the smallest size. It occurs right before the heel shaping. If you follow the instructions in the pattern, the cables do not shape properly on the top of foot.

Don't they look warm? Although they don't match, they kinda complement each other! Hmmm... when will they find their real partners?!

I like the Lace Panel Socks a lot! Time to do some matchmaking and finish them :)

I seem to have developed this problem too of many completed single socks. These 2 patterns are lovely... so get knitting!

I love that Koigu colorway! Why don't you do that one first. ;-)

Oh yes, that BFF sock is so lovely! I've got some Koigu and the same pattern on my to-do list too.... but let finish up my current pair and this will certainly be next ;o)

I love the Koigu colourway! Don't let them be lonely for too long ... they deserve a real partner! ;)

I like the lace one - the colour is very vintage blue. I've earmarked the BFF for a future pair, so thanks for the note about a possible error
