During my bedridden period, I decided to work on the Summer Boobtube. The ribbon yarn is a bit difficult to work with. Although soft and perfect for this humid weather, it tend to twist and I had to periodically untwist it. After ripping it and unripping it a few times, the progress seems encouraging. Despite my very limited skills in crochet, I chose a picot edging with contrasting cotton ribbon to make the boobtube more feminine and lacy.
Things were getting exciting as I was trying to figure out how to make it stay up (ribbing? elastic? ribbon? add straps?). Just 3 more inches to go to pick up crochet stiches and SNAP!

I like the color of your boobtube. Nice edge too! Sorry about the crochet hook :( Hope you can get a replacement soon. Take lots of rest!
Yeah ... I agree that the colour of the yarn is very nice. What brand is your crochet hook? Recently I'm in love with Crystal Palace bamboo products ... I have their dpns and am considering buy some of their crochet hooks.

JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!
The ribbon yarn knitted out so beautifully. Hope you find a relacement hook soon. Otherwise, you could try crocheting more loosely on a smaller hook. hope you're feeling better already.
Sorry to hear that you are sick! Hope you recover soon. Well, being forced home, gave you plenty of time to knit your pretty Boobtube. Oh, I am having a series of stalled projects too.....
